Low Slab + Steel

Hung from a steel box frame, the live edge, Walnut slab is presented as an object. The bark was stripped, ragged saw kerfs softened and the top levelled. The bottom of the slab is left untouched as a record of the original mill marks and distortions that occurred as the slab air-dried in a barn in Indiana.
